Dr. Fabiola Gamarra-Hilburn brings a wealth of experience and a global perspective to her practice. Born in Sucre, Bolivia, she earned her medical degree in Cochabamba, Bolivia, and went on to specialize in dermatology in Córdoba, Argentina. After moving to the United States, Dr. Gamarra-Hilburn lived in Wilmington, North Carolina, for eight years, where she furthered her career and embraced the local community.

Her dedication to internal medicine led her to complete her residency at Berkshire Medical Center in Massachusetts. She then pursued advanced training through a fellowship in rheumatology at the University of Puerto Rico, where she honed her skills in diagnosing and treating autoimmune and inflammatory conditions.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Gamarra-Hilburn is committed to providing culturally sensitive and inclusive care to her patients. Her ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds allows her to create a welcoming environment for all.
